Types
A12's PartiallyKnownDocumentMultiPointer — the addressing type the message channel uses.
One part of an exact A12 pointer — the counterpart of A12's PathPart: a name and a repetitionIndex.
One exact A12 DocumentPointer: an ordered list of A12PathPart, with A12's derived views over it.
A12's canonical exact DocumentPointer string — the project's single addressing form for a resolved cell (CLAUDE.md "NEVER invent a shape A12 already defines"). Grammar, per kernel 30.8.1 DocumentPointerImpl/PathPartImpl: parts joined by /, each part a name optionally followed by [n]. An absent bracket means repetition 1 and the canonical form omits [1], so Recipe/Ingredients[3]/Name is canonical and a field part carries no bracket. A leading / is accepted and stripped as redundant; a trailing / is rejected.
Result state of one computed field cell.
Immutable retained result for one source computation. results remains the report-all observation; actions is its source-relative application subset. Applying to another snapshot never recomputes against that destination.
Detached outcome of one computed field cell.
Synchronous document-aware error-condition SPI; true means the containing rule fires.
Read-only, model-owned document view supplied only while a custom condition is executing.
Name-resolving source of custom conditions; null means unsupported.
Exact document, relevance, formal-error, and error-pointer inputs of one custom-condition call.
Immutable explicit or factory-backed custom-condition resolver bound once to an Interpreter.
Name-resolving source of custom field validators; null means unsupported.
Immutable explicit or factory-backed custom-field resolver bound once to an Interpreter.
Locale and effective declaration bounds supplied to one custom-field validation call.
Allocation-free accepting or structured rejecting result of a custom field validator.
Synchronous code-based custom-field validation SPI.
Customization registry involved in a registration failure.
An explicit customization registry contains an empty or duplicate name.
Stable reason why an explicit customization registration was refused.
A concrete or relevance pointer carries invalid coordinates. Group coordinates above declared bounds remain representable for formal validation; this error covers address shape, not repetition-limit validation.
Stable reason why a concrete model address cannot be constructed.
Resource bounds for Document decoding. Caller values are capped by the hard implementation maxima so an API consumer cannot accidentally disable the browser-safe denial-of-service guards.
The document holds state A12 Document JSON has no shape for, so encoding would silently lose it. The one reachable case is a non-repeatable group row above 1: A12's reader accepts an array at any group (so such a row stays readable, and formal validation reports it), while A12's writer emits a non-repeatable group as a single object. pointer is the canonical A12 pointer of the offending row.
One structured Document-input failure. Only properties meaningful for reasonCode are populated; message is presentation text and is never the sole carrier of corrective data. pointer is the canonical A12 DocumentPointer string of the offending position (A12PointerFormat), so a caller can address the defect in the same form the document itself uses.
Aggregate Document-input failure; thrown before any document state is constructed.
What a JSON node at one document position actually is, when the model expected something else.
One exact model-owned group row or field cell.
One frozen, model-owned document instance. It exposes no storage mutation or evaluation surface; the encode verb on its owning PreparedModel.documents is the read-back. documentId is A12's root-level id — a serializer special case rather than a model field, so it takes no part in evaluation.
Exact model-owned field-cell pointer produced by ModelMetadata.pointer.
Exact model-owned group-row pointer produced by ModelMetadata.pointer.
One owner-bound active evaluator. It reuses one prepared engine, accepts only snapshots/pointers from its PreparedModel, and returns detached support, validation, and computation records.
Customization inputs used to create one active Interpreter.
Typed boundary error for host factory/callback failures and same-lane reentry.
Lifecycle phase in which a host factory or callback failed.
Stable classification of a host integration failure.
Document-independent support audit for one prepared model and one bound customization configuration.
Java acquisition port for the common collector. One provider instance represents one logical source snapshot; returning null means that the requested exact model id does not exist.
Portable cancellation state shared with the provider and checked between exact-id loads.
One distinct resolved preparation edge and the digest of the exact source bytes that satisfied it.
Whether a model-owned pointer addresses a declared group row or field cell.
Non-throwing result of assembler-only expanded DM-JSON generation.
Minimal model-owned metadata boundary for exact and partial-relevance pointer construction. Rich declaration navigation remains outside the first interpreter release increment.
Common ownership contract for model-bound runtime values.
Opaque process- or Worker-local authenticity domain for objects created by one PreparedModel.
A model-owned runtime object reached an API belonging to a different prepared owner domain — a foreign model, or a stale snapshot of an earlier preparation of the same sources. expected and actual are opaque correlation identities, never model content.
Aggregate failure for source admission or model preparation.
Resource bounds for source admission and deterministic preparation. Caller values are capped by the hard implementation maxima so an API consumer cannot accidentally disable the browser-safe denial-of-service guards.
Non-throwing result of preparing one model for evaluation.
The role of one directed edge in the raw-model preparation closure.
One exact directed edge traversed while preparing a workspace closure.
Effective acquisition ceiling and cancellation state for one provider call.
Snapshot-scoped host port that resolves one exact logical model id without exposing storage machinery. snapshotRevision is optional provenance and is retained only when it is a safe logical label.
Typed provider-owned acquisition failure. Collection retains only its stable reason and cause.
Stable reason supplied by a provider that cannot return one requested source.
Opaque process- or Worker-local identity for one independently prepared model version.
Immutable exact-id workspace produced from a finite or provider-collected source set. Construction admits and freezes every supplied source; prepare resolves only the requested entry's transitive closure.
Java-only asynchronous projection over the single common workspace collector.
The Document transport of one PreparedModel, speaking A12's canonical Document JSON on both sides. readDocument validates the complete text — parseability, resource limits, model paths, and node types — and only then constructs the snapshot, so a failing input mutates nothing. seedDocument creates the deterministic, complete model-shaped candidate also exposed by dmtool model seed. encodeDocument is the owner-checked read-back: every row, empty cell, and unconverted raw value survives it, and one encode reaches the canonical fixed point.
One model-static prepared owner domain. It contains no request document, clock, callback, registry, provider, filesystem handle, or request-scoped state.
One coordinate of a partial-validation selection: one exact row or every repetition at that level.
Model-owned field/group selection accepted by partial validation.
Partial-validation selection containing at least one RelevantCoordinate. All coordinate.
A lookup requested a path that names no declared field or group.
One construct the configured interpreter cannot evaluate — a stored rule, an implicit rule, a computation, a field declaration whose custom type is unregistered, or a single document cell.
What kind of address an UnsupportedProgram.path carries — the two are not interchangeable.
Detached, kernel-free projection of one validation finding.
Whether a firing reports an invalid supplied value or a required omission.
Detached full/partial-validation report with independent finding and support axes.
UI severity of one validation finding; only ERROR makes noErrorOccurred false.
One immutable raw DM-JSON source supplied to ModelWorkspace.
